The Yakima HangOut 2 is a high-quality bike carrier designed to be mounted on the tailgate of your Acura RDX II. The sturdy steel frame can accommodate 2 regular bikes with a maximum weight of 13,5 kg per bike. The total maximum bike weight is 27 kg. The HangOut has a 2-piece hub system. After the hub system is unlocked, it is very easy to bring the upper frame and the bike support arms into the correct position. The integrated bike stabilizers in combination with the adjustable rubber chain straps ensure that your bikes are clamped safely for transport. The foam protection pads are placed on the support points to prevent scratches on your car. The metal buckles are coated for extra protection. The bike carrier is secured with multiple tension straps to the edges of the tailgate. When not in use, the HangOut can be folded flat for easy storage.
Because the bikes are transported hanging, they must have a more or less horizontal top tube. For bicycles without a top tube or with a sloping top tube, the Yakima TubeTop bicycle frame adapter can be ordered as an accessory.

Does this product fit my car?
Check whether your car corresponds to the description such as car brand, model, year of build and body type (hatchback, station wagon, sedan etc.):
- Year of build. Example: a product fits on a car model from 2004 until 2013.
